DAY 1: HOLLYWOOD BLVD & THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN TOUR

NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY- JOURNALISTIC STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

DURATION : 7 HOURS . LIGHT SNACK/ DINNER INCLUDED AT THE MOST FAMOUS BURGER JOINTS IN HOLLYWOOD

Nothing can set off a better mood than visiting the most iconic signs in the world and being able to explore all sort of photographic possibilities on the first day, followed by dinner at one of the most authentic Thai restaurant’s in Hollywood, followed by an incredible evening of fund and excitement on Hollywood Blvd for some night photography

The shimmering neon lights bouncing off the Star covered side walks alongside some of the most historic landmarks, theaters, museums and souvenir shops full of people and street performers making Hollywood a playground for any photographer to remember, especially when guided by an award winning photographer

DAY 2: VENICE BEACH – SANTA MONICA PIER

THE GOLDEN HOUR & THE LONG EXPOSURE PHOTOGRAPHY

DURATION : 6 HOURS – REFRESHMENTS INCLUDED

We will start the day with visiting one of the most colorful beaches in the world, Venice and Santa Monica

Capturing 100’s of colorful display of Art, The Beach culture, Surfers and surf shops, all the way to the most beautiful sunsets by the pier around the GOLDEN HOUR. which is the most important lighting in photography to know and learn about, followed by some long exposure night photography along the Pier and the world famous Ferris wheel

DAY 3: DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – CHINA TOWN

LANDSCAPE- CITY & ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY

DURATION : 6 HOURS -LUNCH INCLUDED

Meeting at 10 am : in front of DISNEY CONCERT HALL .The prized Jewel of Los Angels

This architectural master piece offers a great opportunity to shoot and discuss the importance of line, geometry, composition, depth of field and so much more

We will continue our day by visiting the most ethnically preserved part of Los Angeles ( THE CHINA TOWN) with it’s beautiful shops, restaurants and Chinese influence.

Followed by lunch at the very restaurant that Jackie Chan filmed his famous move “the Rush Hour”!

DAY 4: THE GETTY MUSEUM

DURATION : 7 HOURS -REFRESHMENTS INCLUDED

AN ARTISTIC EXPLORATION OF ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY – IMAGE EDITING

We will learn and explore this Iconic landmark filled with 1000’s of original oil paintings, sculptors, photographs and much morewe’ll discuss several master painter’s techniques that later were adopted by many great photographers, including Shaun Alexander himself! He will talk about his favorite artists that have influenced his work a great deal!such as Rembrandt lighting while exploring his work Up close and personal! along many more Renaissance artists Don’t forget your laptops and everything you have shot. We will finish our last day with Image Review, Q&A and Raw image processing and image enhancement techniques used by Mr. Alexander Personally while having Tea, and refreshments at the Getty lounge and cafe with 360 degree views of the entire city and the ocean.
